How to Share Your Story and apply for grant money

  • We request you record a video of your personal story, highlighting your challenges, achievements, and how you envision using support from The RACHEL Project. A video from your cell phone is adequate.
  • Upload your video to a file-sharing platform like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive, and ensure the link is shareable.
  • Submit the video URL through our application form along with your contact information.
  • We hope to build a collection of stories to share and treasure in the years to come.
  • If a video is too far outside of your comfort zone, please indicate this on your application. Your written application will be considered without bias.

How can I apply for financial assistance?

What is the maximum grant amount I can receive?

Grants of up to $500.00 are awarded on a quarterly basis to eligible applicants. You must be 19 or older, have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder,

Can I reapply for a grant if my application is not accepted?

Yes!! We encourage you to reapply for a grant in the subsequent quarters if your initial application is not accepted. We want to help! Grants are awarded based on donations available.

How can I support The RACHEL Project?

You can support us by donating, Help us get this grass roots mission off the ground, Our grants are needed. Grants without red tape. Your financial generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of adults with autism. Most non profits and charities nationwide support children, not adults. Adults and their families need support across their lifetime.

Will my video be shared publicly?

Only if you’re ok with this. We request permission to share your video on our website to share our stories and inspire others. If you prefer to keep your submission private, you can indicate that on your application. We will always honor your privacy.


Eligibility:

  • Must be an adult 19 years of age or older with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and live in Spokane, WA or the surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrate financial need (if requested).
  • Grants of up to $500.00 are awarded quarterly.
  • Remember there is no red tape. Kindly state your need and your application will be considered. Applicants will be contacted by email regarding application status and grant awards.
